2 was about learning; 2 was my first time stretching a canvas, gessoing it, and building a large painting. I used thick chunks of paint. This piece is very textured and the paint dried atop the surface beautifully. I was imagining a view of 2 cowboys horseback amidst a desert gazing from below, upon a cloud that stretches all the way into space.
